Jakarta - Ponsel pintar hasil kolaborasi Samsung dan Google -- Nexus S -- akhirnya mendarat di Indonesia. Ini merupakan smartphone Android pertama yang mengusung OS Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Di Indonesia, Nexus S diboyong Samsung dengan menggaet operator seluler XL Axiata. "Kami menyediakan pasokan 5.000 unit Nexus S sebagai permulaan," ujar Head of Corporate Communication XL Axiata, Febriati Nadira, kepada detikINET, Jumat (1/4/2011).

"Pengguna sudah bisa mendapatkan Nexus S per hari ini di semua outlet Samsung," imbuhnya.

Nexus S merupakan smartphone kedua Google setelah sebelumnya menelurkan Nexus One dengan menggaet parbikan ponsel asal Taiwan HTC. XL membanderol Nexus S seharga Rp 5.499.000.

"Harga tersebut sudah termasuk diskkon 50% paket data unlimited XL selama tiga bulan, serta gratis 150 menit voice, 150 SMS dan 15 MMS," Ira menandaskan.
